lol... You guys are excited? =)

I... Couldn't tell... *wink-smile*.

My sister showed me the trailer to "Bright Star."

It's only playing in one theatre close,
and it costs quite a pretty penny to go see it there.

So, she's hopeful that it will end up in the "Cheap" theatre soon. =)

Until then... we wait.

BBC, 'eh? hummmm.... I've seen several different versions, come to think of it.

BBC Sense and Sensibility = "fantastic." Duly noted. =)

I'm actually not sure if I've experienced that one or not... My sisters've almost always got something or another playing... (One of the beauties of libraries... and thrift stores.)

Well, I will tell you, in case you hadn't guessed, that I consider the 1995 version to be wonderfully entertaining, as well...

We can trade recommendations, I guess. =)

I am praying for your dad, and your whole family.

Sense and Sensibility!

I should watch it?

Again? =)

I love that movie...

Esp -esp -esp especially with the... the man... who...

who stutters.

=)

Good poetry in there, too...

"Margaret Dashwood."

"I LIKE her. She talks about things. We NEVER talk about things."

Edward Ferrars: I wish to check the position of the Nile. My sister
tells me it is in South America.
Elinor Dashwood: No. Shes quite wrong, for... I believe it is in, uhm,
 Belgium.
Edward Ferrars: You must be thinking of the Volga.
Margaret: The Volga?
Elinor Dashwood: Of course, the Volga. Which, as you know, starts
 in...
Edward Ferrars: Vladivostock, And ends in...
Elinor Dashwood: Wimbledon.
Edward Ferrars: Precisely. Where the coffee beans come from.
Margaret: The source of the Nile... is in Abyssinia!"
(I had to look this one up. =)

Great movie...

Hope you've had a marvelously unusual day!

Maybe I will start my own blog.

I've actually tried it before, with little success, on blogger. =(

Perhaps I can force myself to be more consistent.

I write alot, but not all blogg-able/worthy.

"... so intrigued by things that provoke sadness." Me too.

Ecclesiastes 7:

"Sorrow is better than laughter:
for
By the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better.
The heart of the wise in in the house of mourning;
but
The heart of fools is in the house of mirth."

"Consider the work of God:
For who can make straight, what He has made crooked?"

|/ |/ |/ |/ |/ |/ |/ |/ |/ |/ |/ |/

"I like to think in art.
there has to be shadows intertwined throughout a painting or

photograph to make it a true piece of art."

I like metaphors. =)

As I read the bold printed words, I was reminded of a song...
"Art in Me" by Jars of Clay.

I hope you've heard it, and if you haven't... well... you should. =)

"In Your picture book I'm trying hard to see.
Turning endless pages of this tragedy.
Sculpting every move, You compose a symphony,
To play to everyone -see the art in me..."

*sigh*... God uses Shadows... =) Why?

"...because it makes life so real," you said... And the only reason

we know this is because we've lived life -at least part of it.

Life makes sadness real, just as much as sadness makes life real.

I like the way you reasoned it out. It made me smile. =)

I hope you're feeling better today.

Keep Smyling, Ria.

-MAC "< =)"

P.S.

I read a book a while back, called: The Eschatology of Bluegrass,

(or) Everybody wants to go to heaven, but nobody wants to die.

You being intrigued by funerals -by things provoking sadness, and

all- I'm curious...

Have you ever read it? It's by David Crowder.

...

May we live life like a thankYou, and point it toward Heaven.

-Isaiah 53-

o don't feel bad!
i enjoy long comments(o:
i guess i didn't make myself clear enough on the funeral thing(o;
hmm...to tell you the truth, i do love to cry(for the right reason)
and i like sadness, because it makes life so real.
i don't want to live in a "make believe all is happy world", because that is not what it is.

Oh, now I feel bad for posting such a long comment...

That is simply what was in my head to say to you,
So that's what ended up being said.

I'm quite sorry for how long it was.

=(

-MAC < =)

P.S.

Sadness and mourning are a part of life... yes... I... did know that.

You're attracted to funerals by these things?

No, nevermind. I'm sorry to ask you more questions.

I get like that, I guess... I'm almost always curious about nearly everything.

I'm sure you've better things to do with your time than to answer the incessant inquiries of some long-winded person, whom you don't even know.

You call my comment lovely.

You're too nice.

And I... am too imposing.

I once made a comment on one of my sister's blog-posts, that was longer than the post itself (which may be the case here as well.) and she sweetly suggested that I start my own blog if I had that much to say. I guess I haven't yet learned my lesson.
