#4:
Memorize God’s Word.
I have been thinking about this a lot lately..and, I’ve concluded that this year, I have been very slack in this area. I believe that memorizing the Word of God is a vital part of the christian walk. Yes, it’s hard, and yes, it does take time, but it is crucial. Think of it this way…the Word of God is His love letter to us. Think about that..He loved us so much that He would record all these happenings and prophecies that we might know the truth! Then I was thinking about if I had my Bible taken away from me. How much would I be able to remember? I want my heart to be so full of the Bible that even if I don’t have it right in front of me, I would still be able to recite pages and pages of it! I’m not talking about memorizing it because you have to…I’m talking about doing it because you WANT to. It should be our desire to chase after God, to seek Him with every day, and hour, and minute, and second…seek Him with your everything! Desire. God.
He is so lovely…have a lovely heart..be full of wonder. Our God is a wonderful God(o:

“With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.” ~Psalm 119:10-11(read the whole psalm 119)

#8:For number eight, I am going to share with you a list of eight things that I have learned this year.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
1. friendship is better than fleeting love.
2. the more I read God’s Word the more I can understand it, and the more my heart falls in love with Jehovah.
3. always do a trial recipe.
4. smiling is the best thing to do when you can’t think of anything to say(o:
5. pens will always run out of ink.
6. God’s promises are sure. I know Jesus is coming back.
7. hiding God’s Word in my heart is important.
8. love is best shown in action.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
I’d like to close with some of my favorite verses from Romans 8:
“Who shall separate us from the love of
Christ? shall tribulation, or distress,
or persecution, or famine, or
nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we
are killed all the day long; we are
accounted as sheep for the
slaughter. Nay, in all these things
we are more than conquers
through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that
neither death, nor life, nor angels,
nor principalities, nor powers,
nor things present, nor things
to come, nor height, nor depth,
nor any other creature, shall be
able to separate us from the
love of God, which is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.”
~Romans 8:35-39
We could think up 100 things about why you are such a good dad. We could come up with a lot of things to say about you. We could say a lot of words to you, but it all comes down to this:
We. Love. You. Dad.
Lala & Bella

LOVE joy peace
LONGSUFFERING
gentleness goodness FAITH
MEEKNESS temperance(Galatians 5:22)

#9: The fruit of the Spirit.
How much fruit is on your branches?
How much fruit has been in my life this past year? There are a lot of fruit trees around our house..and some bear fruit, while some lack it, and some have fruit, but we can’t eat it because it has worms. How much I want to be a branch that bears much fruit, sweet fruit! So, think about fruit. Think about the fruit that you gave, then think about the fruit that those around you spilled from their branches. This year, let us be a fruit bearing people. God wants us to bear fruit…much fruit.

I’ve decide to start a little countdown to celebrate the year that is before us, and the year that is going to be behind us. Today is day number 1o. Can you believe it? There is only ten days till the new year! During this countdown, I want to look at things that have been in the past; and are happening, and what we can do this very moment, in the present; and the future that is yet to come. I think it will be a fun little look back at last year and the year to come.

I have to say that all of the comments made me smile…some I read thinking “what does that mean!” and then others touched my heart, and then others where just too hilarious to even understand(kaisha’s sister is quite the funny gal!). I have thought a lot about who should win(it has been much harder than I thought it was going to be), and I have decided that caleychey gets the prize(o: Congratulations! I picked her comment for a few reasons..1. because I can relate to that little tree, and 2. because I have this odd obsession with poetry. I’d like to to share to comment with you now(o:
