Yesterday morning, our refrigerator broke down.
I prayed that God would give us a new fridge.
It started working again after I prayed that.
God fixed the fridge.
After that, I was just blown away. If God can answer such a simple prayer as “please fix my fridge”, then I am convinced He can answer any prayer I pray. It’s a heart issue though, when I asked God for a new fridge, I completely believed He was going to do something about it. If we ask God for something, we have to believe that He is going to give it to us. We have to remember though, sometimes what we pray for isn’t necessarily how it is going to turn out. I prayed for a fridge, but God fixed ours! I know I may seem silly trying to convince you that God fixed my family fridge, but I am completely sure that He did. (o: If He can do that, He can do anything. Jehovah should be in everything that we do. Even in the little things. Like getting your refrigerator fixed(o;

Our thanksgiving was quite fun. The day started off with us all marching off to the park.
I love to swing.
I think they are quite a spiffy invention.
I hope to have a swing set for my children when I am married.
Slides are always fun too.
There are only two of us making funny faces. Who are they? (o;
Oh! We have a bridge.
I love the bridge.
Reminds me of of the bridge that Christ Jesus is for us.
Which makes me love Jesus even more.
Then we found a lonely train.
Made me think of Corrie ten Boom.
Which, made my heart sad and happy at the same time.
God is so good.
Then we all enjoyed a fabulous meal.
Thank you God.

I know now is the time for holiday cheer and such, in spite of it all though, remember those in India. Read more about the developing story here. My heart is anxious for those that are trapped and those that have lost loved ones. Pray for them.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I thought it would be a marvelous day to express all the gratitude that is in my heart. (o:
I’m thankful…
- that Jesus saved me.
- for the Word of God. I am thankful that I have every page of it.
- for the Gospel.
- that I have a loving family.
- for my daddy and the way he rubs my head as he walks out the door to go work. I am thankful that he is turning into such a good preacher, and that he goes to work willingly to support his family. I am thankful that he loves all of us.
- for my mother who has taught me so much. I am thankful that she taught me how to cook, and decided to homeschool all of us. I am thankful that she taught me those first few basic chords on guitar.
- for my sister Isi and her intelligent wit. She write some really marvelous stories, and I think I would be very bored without them. She has encouraged me in my writing, and I most likely would not be the writer I am today without her help.
- for my sister Tati and her humor. Without her I would laugh much less and the stars would not shine as bright at night.
- for my sister Franci who loves children and her laugh that makes me smile. I am thankful that she has so willingly shared a room with me. I would be lonely without her.
- for my brother Dante and his manliness. There would be such a lack of manliness in our house without him.
- for my grandparents. I quite enjoy my grandpa’s sense of humor and my grandma’s sense of style. They are very cute, and love them(o:
- for my friends. For both the close, and those that I have never met. I am especially thankful for all of my friends that have spurred me on in my walk with the LORD.
- for the men and women of God who have inspired me to get closer to Jehovah.
- for a house to live in, and a bed to sleep on, and a roof over my head.
- for running water.
- for love in a dying and sick world.
- that all my limbs are mobile, and that I am healthy.
- for little children.
- for sewing machines and ovens.
- for art.
- for music.
…..
I could go on and on with so much more. God has blessed me more than I could ever have imagined. So much I take for granted. What are you thankful for?
16Rejoice evermore.
17Pray without ceasing.
18In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. ~1 Thess. 5:16-18
Now, I think I’ll go don a dress and an apron, and help my mother cook(o: Happy thanksgiving to you all!

The dishes are done
and the laundry too.
I’d like to share with you some verses I’ve been memorizing. The LORD has been convicting me that I need to work a little harder at hiding His Word in my heart. Here they are:
“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary one to the other so ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.” ~Galatians 5:16-18
◊
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying on another.” ~Galatians 5:22-26
◊
“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” ~1 Corinthians 3:16-17
◊
Will you walk in the Spirit?

No man ever served God by doing things to-morrow. If we honour Christ and are blessed, it is by the things which we do to-day. Whatever you do for Christ throw your whole soul into it. Do not give Christ a little slurred labour, done as a matter of course now and then; but when you do serve Him, do it with heart, and soul, and strength.
~Spurgeon
“And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. And in that day ye shall say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth. Cry and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.” ~Isaiah 12:1-6
Our God is Holy.
How lovely is He.
O how much we need Him.
Live today like it might be your last.

I was swallowed up in the stars tonight. I was completely encased in the reality of how big the God I serve is. All I wanted was to be with Him. I wish there were more days like that. This past week has been a hard learning week for me. When I go through trials though, I have found that Jehovah becomes closer to me. A wise man once said, “The darker it gets, the brighter the Light will shine.” This was so apparent to me as we drove home tonight. I gazed up at those stars and felt so full and alive. As we began to be surrounded by the city lights, those heavenly ones dimmed…don’t be afraid to let the Light shine. shine. shine. bright. Why are we so afraid to speak up for Christ? Our hearts burn within us, but still we keep quiet. Let it out. Don’t be afraid! Jesus is alive! We are free! We are living in a world full of slaves…how much longer will we ignore the chains that bind them? Christ has given you freedom, He wants to give them freedom too!
Tonight, I went to a little get-together with some other believers. I enjoyed the time spent with these other people who love Jesus. My sister said something tonight that really sparked something in my heart. She said, “You can either be content in the world, or content in God.” She began to go on saying that being content with the world and it’s standards will never bring joy or fullness, even though we can see the outcome. With God, we can’t see the outcome, but when we are content in Him, we will be full, and happy, and joyful. Even though I don’t know what God is going to do, I am happy with following Him, because I know His will is perfect. How amazing is that!? Nothing makes me happier than hearing that my sisters are growing in their faith. (o:
Oh how full of love I am for Yaweh right now.
My heart is beating softly for Him more
every
second.

“And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. And he said,
Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: for all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offering of God: but she of her *penury hath cast in all the living that she had.“
~Luke 21:1-4
Are you giving your all to the LORD?
* penury
n : a state of extreme poverty or destitution; "their indigence
appalled him"; "a general state of need exists among the
homeless" [syn: indigence, need, beggary, pauperism]
